United Methodist Women responsibility is to be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the Church”.
We are open to any woman who wants to belong. We have a Bible study on the first Tuesday of the month and an evening group that meets on the second Sunday. Our programs vary from personal fellowship, mission studies, and some hands on mission projects as well as our personal pledge to missions. We are in the planning stages for changes that will give more opportunities for varied short term studies and projects. Our meetings are infomal and are held not only at the church but in members homes when appropriate.
There is a place for you if you are interested in missions not only around the world but locally and desire a small group fellowship. Please come and share in our activities and grow in your personal walk with God.
