We here at Cogdell are a very caring family. We have special means for caring for people of all ages.
- Hospital and nursing home visits made by myself, the pastor and other individuals.
- A Bereavement Committee for serving meals and caring for the needs of families who have lost a loved one.
- Assisting families in searching for and placing family members in rehab and nursing facilities.
- Providing gift bags for shut-ins at Christmas and Christmas in July. This is a project of United Methodist Women.
- Individuals who stand by to provide meals to those who return home fro the hospital.
In addition, we have many caring people who do random acts of kindness and caring as needed in the congregation. We take caring for each other very seriously here at Cogdell. We believe in doing that as well as caring for others outside the church.
