C.A. & The Boys is a gospel music ensemble which sings traditional, 4 part, gospel music (quartet style). The group was formed in 1999 by tenor and Choir Director John Tuett. The original group consisted of John Truett, Robert Millsaps (tenor), C.A. Milam (baritone) and Kenneth Boatman Jr. (bass).
The dynamics of the group have changed through the years. others who sang with the group were basses Larry Jameson, John Coffman, Leo Dewitt and Daniel Hawkins.
Other directors were James Franklin (tenor), Dr Terry Lynn Hudson, Luke Carlson (tenor/baritone) and Owen McKnight (tenor).
Presently the ensemble consists of Dr Andrew Hudson (Pianist, voice coach, bartone), Hal Ericksen (tenor), James Carruth (tenor), Steve McGuire (baritone/bass) and C.A. Milam (bass).
The ensemble is available for church services, special gospel events, funerals, shut-ins at various times or by special request. Our goal has always been to take Christ to other people through harmonious singing.
